Nina explains more about what happened after Artemis launched and how its now headed to the Moon
The Artemis II mission has left Earth's orbit... and is headed to the Moon!
Late on Wednesday night, the four astronauts blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
After spending their first day orbiting Earth to check the capsule's engines, navigation and life-support systems, the Orion spacecraft fired it's main engine for a final push towards the Moon.
The engine burn - known as the translunar injection (TLI) - lasted five minutes and 55 seconds.
It is the first time since 1972 that humans have travelled outside of the Earth's orbit.

However inside the spacecraft, it's not been quite as smooth sailing.
The team have experienced some issues with the loo onboard the craft!
But, astronaut Christina Koch - who calls herself the "space plumber" - says she's now solved the problem and everything is working as it should.
"I like to say that [the plunger] is the most important piece of equipment in space," Christina laughs.
The Artemis II mission plans to take the astronauts further into space than humans have been before - more than 4,700 miles beyond the Moon.
Nasa estimates that this could beat the record set by Apollo 13 in 1970.
The team seem in high spirits as the capsule moves further into space.
Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen said the crew was "feeling pretty good up here on the way to the Moon".
