The new Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, was filmed in the UK, and we're excited to explore the secret locations used in the film. Glasgow, Hertfordshire, Kent, and London were all used as important locations in the movie. In Glasgow, some action scenes were filmed outside the Little Tuscany restaurant. Spider-Man (Tom Holland) was seen trying to stop a tank in the streets of New York City, but these streets are actually in Glasgow! He uses his web-shooters to try and stop the tank on Bothwell Street and St Vincent Street. Another scene filmed in Glasgow takes place on Hutcheson Street, where Spider-Man meets The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and they have an adventure together in a van. The sign of the Chaakoo Bombay Cafe can be seen in the film, and the owner was thrilled to see it on Instagram. In the movie, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) visits the Empire State University to meet Professor Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), but this university is actually Hertfordshire County Hall. The Turk's Shipyard at Chatham Historic Dockyard in Kent was used as The Punisher's secret hideout. Spider-Man also battles the ninja group, The Hand, in the old interior of Dorchester prison, which was closed in 2014. The headquarters of Damage Control is the Senate House, University of London Union's administrative center. Ravenscourt Park in west London was used for an important scene in the film, but we won't give away any spoilers! Can you recognize these locations?
