Imagine getting to train with a Premier League football club! Some teenage footballers from Ukraine got to do just that during a special visit to the UK. Under-15 players from FC Kharkiv were welcomed by Leeds United for a week of sports and fun activities. They even played a friendly match against Leeds United's under-15 team! The young players traveled over 30 hours from their home city of Kharkiv to Leeds in northern England. Despite the long trip and not speaking the same language, they had a blast training with Leeds United coach Brian Deane. The players were very excited and happy to be there. One player, Egor, said, 'Football is a big part of my life. I'm a goalkeeper, and it's a very important job!' His friend Mykyta added, 'I'm learning and trying my best to achieve my dreams. I hope they come true one day!' This trip was part of a special friendship between Leeds and Kharkiv to bring the two cities closer together.
