A brand‑new dance show will join CBBC's Saturday Mash‑Up this autumn.

Strictly Pro Dance Off will have the professional dancers from Strictly Come Dancing compete in dance battles. Each episode will match the theme of Strictly for that week.

If you love dancing and tap your feet when you watch, that's great! The show invites viewers to try the lessons too.

Who will be on Strictly 2026?

What is it like to perform on Strictly Come Dancing? Watch the video (00:01:13).

Each 7‑minute episode shows one Strictly Pro in a virtual training room with two other dancers, and the Pro leads a tutorial on a routine.

The two students then dance against each other to impress their teacher.

Sarah Muller, Senior Head of Commissioning for BBC Children's and Education 7+, says she hopes viewers will learn more about the different dance styles and techniques that make ballroom dancing exciting.

The first episode will air on 19 September, the same day the new Strictly season begins.
