Tiny snails produced at Chester Zoo have been saved from extinction and released back into the wild. These little snails are even smaller than a pea! Conservationists say this project is a huge success. The snails were taken to a small, deserted island in the North Atlantic Ocean, which is an ideal place for them to live. Conservationists from Portugal, the UK, and France worked together to save the snails. They were carefully moved to the island using special red lights so as not to disturb other wildlife.
